Schools often keep students inside classrooms all day, but this is not always the best learning environment. Outdoor classrooms should be used more often, especially in spring, because they improve students’ mood, focus, and overall school experience.

First, outdoor learning helps students feel better mentally. Fresh air and natural light can reduce stress and make students feel more relaxed compared to being inside all day. This creates a healthier and more positive learning environment.

Second, outdoor classrooms can improve focus and motivation. Changing the environment helps students break the routine of sitting in the same place for hours, making lessons feel more interesting and engaging.

Our school, СОУ „Љупчо Сантов“, actually has an outdoor classroom area, but it is not very usable at the moment. The space is not clean enough, and the whiteboard is filled with drawings and cannot be properly used. Because of this, the area is often ignored instead of being used for learning, even though it has great potential.

However, some people may say that outdoor classes are distracting and hard to control. But this is not true if teachers plan lessons properly and students follow rules, outdoor learning can still be very effective.

In conclusion, outdoor classrooms should be used more often because they help students feel better and learn more effectively. Schools should take advantage of good weather and improve existing outdoor spaces to make learning more flexible and enjoyable.
